Sarah & Matt's Winter Wedding at Trinity Buffalo & Hotel at the Lafayette

As one simple wish we all had for this special day was just a little bit of snow (it's Buffalo after all).

Matt went golfing with his closest guys in the morning at The Dome in Williamsville. It's such a great way to relax and relieve stress on the biggest day of your life! Sarah got ready with her closest ladies at The Hotel at the Lafayette. The hotel is grand--from the 1900s historic detail, to the lavish furnishings--it was the PERFECT backdrop to Sarah & Matt's vintage and elegant decor.

They were both married at a lovely ceremony at Trinity Episcopal Church in Buffalo. We then drove to Shea's Seneca to take some photos in front of their marquee--how cool! Another stop along the way was City Hall in Buffalo. It's such a cool art deco building with intricate details. We then headed back to the hotel in preparation for the reception!

The extravagant ballroom was lined with beautiful tables of greenery and old books. The grand cake stood alone in the center of the room with a little cake topper of their beloved cat (cutest thing everrrrr). And oh my GOSH was it delicious. I am an absolute dessert freak (you will find me hovering over near the dessert table at your wedding--I have to taste test ;). After everyone had a fabulous dinner, the cake was cut and the dancing commenced! We decided to sneak out for a little shoot in the snow (we saw it falling and made a break for it). It was SOOO worth it!!! If you ever get a chance to shoot in the snow- DO IT NOW! A snowy/smokey sparkler send off was set for 9pm and then we all went back inside for the bouquet and garter toss. It was such a magical night and was so much fun to go back and remember all the little moments when editing. Plus Sarah & Matt were DREAM clients <3
